Ornaments Galore!

If you missed our ornament knitting party on Sunday, I'm sorry! We had a wonderful time. So much fun, in fact, that we're going to make it an annual event. And, since a picture is worth a thousand words...

And here are samples of the darling ornaments we made:

Kris has her Santa on her tree already!

And in other Holiday knitting news...the Fireside Stockings are progressing beautifully! Here are just a few:

Ten Tiny Toes

Eleven of us are making the beautiful Fireside Stocking by the amazing Kate Gilbert. Class began on Wednesday and by the end of class, everyone had a tiny toe!

Here's what it looks like when it grows up:

In more knitting news - here is Deb's fresh off the needles sweater! Cory just taught Deb to knit in April if you can believe it! This is Deb's first fully shaped, cable detailed sweater and is the sweater she chose for the sweater class I recently held. She and Kelli are the first ones done! Kelli's been out of town so a picture of her beauty will be forthcoming.

There's just 2 spots left for our Ornament Party next Sunday, November 16 from 1:00-5:00. If you don't know the details, click here. It's going to be great fun and there's talk of Karoake! Call the Shop at 708.229.0061 to reserve your place.
